We are created to worship. You may have heard this said, but what does it mean? It means that it is in our nature to worship, it is our essential purpose, our most desirable end, to give ourselves to worship. But to worship what or whom? To worship the Living God who created us. And to do that rightly, we must come to know Him truly. He has revealed Himself to us in truth through His Word and especially through Jesus Christ. So we acknowledge Him, stand in wonder and awe, and respond in worship.
