“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  Malachi 3:10

           God has called us to radical generosity and when we give, we lean into spiritual transformation. Letting go of what we hold as valuable allows God the opportunity to change us from the inside out. Becoming more like Jesus means living a generous live marked by love and sacrifice.

           We believe God’s baseline for generous giving is the “tithe.” The term “tithe” simply means tenth and is defined in Scripture as the first 10% of one’s income. When we bring our first and best to God, he promises to bless and favor our lives. Tithing is a step of faithful obedience to which we are all called.

         Giving on Sunday morning remains a traditional way to regularly contribute to God’s work. However, many people today choose to contribute electronically. Not having cash or check in hand doesn’t have to limit you. Giving online is a safe, convenient and disciplined way to practice generosity.
