Washed in the Blood

"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light... the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleaneth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7

Just think about this for a moment! The blood is the only element in our bodies that reaches and affects and fuels all the parts of the body. If the blood is restricted from reaching a certain part of the body, that part will internally asphyxiate (die, lose conciousness, choke, suffocate).

Every organ in the body needs blood. The blood also delivers soluble dietery contents throughout the body, our blood also offers defensive mechanisms for the body. The white blood cells are equiped to fight off bacteria and expel it from the body- stripping it of its power and robing it of its danger.

As important as blood is to our physical bodies, the blood of Jesus Christ is also very important in our walk of faith. Without the blood of Jesus, we can not prove our legitimacy in God's Kingdom. Without His blood, we are pseudo- heirs trying to recieve the promises reserved for the legitimate children of God.
